Question British European recruitment...?

I wondered if anyone knew if BE were doing any sort of recruitment? Currently or in the future. Especially interested in Channel Isles bases.

Thanks in advance.

Max dont worry about them. You are correct in the name and the question. It is British European and they have absolutly sweet FA to do with BEA. They were originally called JEA, Jersey European airways and run BAE146, Dash 8 and CRJ'S. . .They have a cadet course that runs with the usual mob at Cabair and have taken a significant amount of low time pilots with the bare minimums.

However I'm sure you knew all this. I believe they are suffering with the global decline and are not employing apart from the cadets, which I believe at this time are frozen, and a few lucky higher time guys/gals. I am also aware that the crews are getting sick of working with the low time cadets. I guess single pilot IFR at night in the crap just doesn't cut it in a 146 huh!

BIK 116.8 go back to godzone mate or BK, where ever>...

Unhappy

I have an application in with them at the moment, I called them on Monday 18th Feb to check on their current state and whether any employment vacancies were on the horizon. The answer they gave which seems to be the only one the airlines know at the moment was of course......... . .'sorry we're not recruiting at the moment and we don't know when we are likely to.'. .I think if you have Channel Islands residency rights the story may be slightly different, but don't hold your breath.

To all of you looking for work like myself, hang in there and good luck, it can only get better?! (I hope!)
