This week's "Flight" quotes Chief operating officer Ed Winter saying they aim to expand at 30% per annum, growing from 27 aircraft at mid-2002 to around 80 aircraft in 4 years' time. An order for up to 80 aircraft for delivery through to 2006 is envisaged, plus additional positions beyond that date. Studies have centred on the A319 and 737-700. They have also identified some markets where a larger aircraft could be of benefit, and they are evaluating whether to order a bigger model such as the 180/200-seat A320/321 or 189/200 seat 737-800/900X.
