My next door neighbour, Butch, took Bill Gates out in his C206 floatplane to look at some bears.

To round the trip off, he then had to wade ashore in his waders, with Bill Gates on his back!

As Butch remarked later over a few beers, "It's a tremendous burden having to carry the wealthiest man in the world!"

This is completely off the subject, but does involve a famous person.

Whilst on my fist solo XC to Ocala, I was waiting for my proof of landing paper to be signed whilist the woman behind the desk was working out a special calculation.

John Travolotas jet was due in to have the toilets pumped, as Ocala don't have a lav truck they were thinking about pumping the slurry into an open truck. She was trying to work out how much slurry the 27 people on board would have produced to see if there truck was big enough.

My suggestion was to use a dumper truck.

I flew Tom Cruise around for half an hour last year. He sat up the front(this was in a helicopter) and chatted the whole time. Wanted to know all about the family, job, etc. Just a regular guy-or maybe he was acting....No sign of Nicole though.

Kevin Bloody Wilson, gave me the bird as he walked past the flight deck to board, just to see what sort of reaction he'd get.

I wasn't sure if I saw what I saw

Some goodies, but the most memorable one was Demis Roussos (seventies Greek singer, remember?)

Booked two seats for the flight which resulted to an overweight landing.

Knowledge is powerrrr....
