Post To the Media people

Why can't you start to be more positive about the situation in Europe. You understand the influence you have over the travelling public, so why not try reporting the fact that traffic loads within Europe are looking positive and people are flying and SHOULD be flying.(that includes to the USA)
If you keep reporting nothing but problems within the airline industry people will begin to believe they should'nt be travelling - do us ALL a favour and lets have some attempt to tell the public to keep on flying - otherwise the terrorists will have another victory.

Good point Buffet, but perhaps the airlines and airport companies could try to be more pro-active in promoting airliner safety.

I think most people arent worried about the integrity of the aeroplane, theyre more worried about airport boarding security and the other passengers that will be sharing their flight. Take a look at the Israeili airline, theyve put more flights on than before the crisis because of the demand. Why? Because they provide and promote security of a standard far above any of their counterparts. People feel safer flying to Tel Aviv than they do NY!

So if the airlines and airports were more pro-active then the media would also take up on that theme.
