Question Exit stage left...

Hi all,

Could somebody please tell me why we always disembark aircraft from the left and thus airports have been desgined that way?

Historically speaking, it has to do with the Captains right to view all the female passengers entering the aircraft, this task was deemed too important to include it in the FO’s responsibilities.

As the "majority" of human beans are right handed, it's easier to turn left than right
I rode a two wheeled contrivance for donks, and could go round left handers easier than right
aka "I dunnooooo!"
we aim to please, it keeps the cleaners happy
