Will Concorde return
Does anyone know what will now happen to Concorde?
With all the big time cost cutting underway and generally 'old' and expensive a/c being retired does Concorde stand a chance of returning to the air, even with the new mods in place? Personally I hope so, but then I don't have to pay for fuel or maintenance!

Yep - as soon as we know the demand is there. Could be as soon as mid-October, may be a little after that.
As for costs - don't matter if you sell enough seats, cos you still make a profit.

Everyting is still looking good for the great brids return. The 2nd BA Aircraft to be modifed (G-BOAE) flew successfully today.
As soon as 3 are ready the pax services will start pretty sharpish as is a very big revenue stream for BA. A load factor of around 40% is break even. Now surely is there they were usually 60-80 regulars on 4 flights a day there will easily be that number on 2 flights a day!
