Post Flight re-routing during Military action?

Hi all,
if (God forbid) military action is taken against Afghanistan , what would be the procedure for flight routings to SE asia...

The reason i ask is that my wife is due to fly to bangkok next week , and the present route is perilously close to what could become a war zone..

Would flights be cancelled , or would they be re-routed , possibly North.

What are the official procedures for this kind of eventuality?

Any help appreciated....understandably I am somewhat concerned

Thanks

Thumbs up

Unsure of exact procedures, but you can rest assured that civilian flights will be re-routed well away from any hotspots. Obviously the danger would be great with armed mil jets patrolling no fly zones etc and danger from the ground, so all civ flights would go nowhere near such an environment.
