Post Concorde fuel consumption

What is the fuel consumption of Concorde in the cruise compared with a full afterburner takeoff.

Also what is the difference, if any, between Afterburner and Reheat?

CRZ = approx 1/3 of TO flow.

MPG at M2.0 is actually better than a jumbo (though, obviously, with fewer seats).

Reheat=British
Afterburner=American.

They're the same thing. (Like - Concorde has throttles, Boeings have thrust levers etc.)

Question

I'm a bit curious myself. What is the fuel flow for CRZ, and full throttle with & without reheat?

Thanks for the reply.

What are the actual figures in Tons per hour.

Co-incidentally I saw a programme on wings last night about Concorde. It refereed to a fule load of 91 tons for a 200 minute flight. Give or take reserves that sounds like about quarter to half a ton a minute. Is this correct?

Unhappy

Heathrow, ISA, Calm, MTOW, Fuel SG0.8

Fuel Flow at Take Off, Reheats ON:

20,700 kg/hr/eng....Total: 82,800 kg/hr
45,635 lb/hr/eng....Total: 182,540 lb/hr
5,704 gph/eng.......Total: 22,818 gph
6,850 USgph/eng.....Total: 27,400 USgph
25,931 lit/hr/eng...Total: 103,724 litres/hr

Rotate...193 kts / 223 mph / 358 kph
V2.......215 kts / 248 mph / 399 kph

Start of Roll to Reheats OFF: 83 seconds.
Fuel Used: 1,909 Kg / 4,209 lbs / 526 g

So you can see why the Reheats are turned OFF fairly quickly

91,000 kg for a 3h:20m LHR-JFK sounds typical, depending on weather etc.

Carburizing...Not a clue!
