Question HELP REQUIRED ON ATPL CREDITS

I have been reading forums on this area and i am somewhat worried and confused about just what is going on and would be very gratefull if someone could put my mind at ease.I have CAA ATPL credits, missed the cut off date to do the BCPL,so had to do JAR/CPL,which ive done, and currently waiting for my license to be issued.I didnt particularly want a JAR license but im getting one.My intentions are getting an ATPL,someone please tell me i dont have to do JAR atpls to get an ATPL issued.WHAT ABOUT MY CAA ATPL CREDITS.They let me do them knowing i was going to lose them?surely this cant be the case.

The JAR CPL(A) does not carry ATPL credit. If you do not hold a UK national, professional licence then you will have to pass the JAR ATPL exams in order to gain a JAR ATPL.
