Question Flight Training Restrictions

I have no doubt it is sensible, and at the very least a mark of respect, that the DETR have restricted all non public transport or police flight in UK airspace. However, I hope that this will be reviewed ASAP, in the light of a security assessmet, so that FTOs can get back to business. Regrettably in the NE similar restrictions inititated to deal with foot and mouth were protracted without any scientific justification.

Does anyone know how long the ban is likely to last?

Deepest sympathy to all involved in US tragedy

The best I have heard is that all GA flight is "banned until at least this evening"..

Hopefully then you'll be back in action tomorrow. Need to verify this though.
