Question Air NZ jump seat policy

Hi all,

I am flyng LHR - LAX with Air NZ Saturday.

Does anyone know what their jumpseat policy is, esp. for take off & landing?

Are flight deck visits / jump seat rides legal under NZ law?

Thanks,

southdowns

PS If any Air NZ drivers want to 'fix it' for me that would be great!

I am not an Air NZ driver but I know that they are normally quite accomodating with jumpseat rides. See the ISD as you board the a/c and ask them nicely to ask the captain.

However, I THINK FAA rules don't allow jumpseat pax in and out of the US but I could be wrong.

FAA rules does not apply to foreign registered aircraft as far as F/D visits are concerened.
