Question Air Canada jumpseat

Hi guys,
I'm flying with Air Canada from LHR to Toronto soon and was wondering if anyone could tell me what their policy is on jumpseat TOs and landings.
I really hope they're not as strict as the Americans on it. Does Canada follow FAA regulations?
Thanks in advance.

I flew Air Canada to Toronto last week and got the jumpseat for both take-off and landing on a 744. Very nice crew, great captain.

It seems their policy is captain's discretion on this. See also 2 replies I got to a similar question some 2 weeks ago, now under 'Aircrew notices'.
