Question Transition from TP to JET

With the recent BA advert in mind I was just wondering how difficult (or easier) is it to go to a jet after several years on props?

I realise there are many out there whom have started this way. If there is a thread elsewhere that discusses this further please let me know.

Regards
SS

Jets are generally easier. No nasty props to give you hassle (but after 6,000 hours F27 time I still sometimes miss those big comforting discs). But jets go places, including the wrong diection, faster. Lots more inertia, and no nasty props to get you out of trouble. I recommend "Handling the Big Jets", by D.P. Davies. It's thirty years old now, but a very readable book about the differences, designed around a prop-pilot converting to jets. Good luck.
