Post Emirates, chances without airline P1 time?

Finally I am reaching the Emirates min. requirements of 2500 hours TT. Including 2000 Boeing mid-size P2 jet hours.

Is it realistic to get an EK interview with the min. qualifications?
I hear a lot of rumors that they do interview merely P1 airline jet captains which got a recommendation from an EK
4-Striper.

On the other hand they will double their fleet within five years!

So how may they keep-up their high time requirements? I guess it is not only me applying for "the guys".

Request some valuable information about EK.
Many thanks
