Post Air 2000 merger/takeover

There seem to be so many rumours going around at the moment that Air2000 and/or first choice are set to be part of a take over or merger soon, can anyone shed any light on this.. .The rumours at present are that we (Air2) are gonna accquire Edelweiss, that we are gonna buy JMC (can't see that somehow - thomas cook is a bit too big!) or that a merger with Airtours is finally on the cards.. .So many rumours so little facts!. .Anyone any ideas?

I continue to see the occasional Air 2000 machine at AYPY, so maybe Air Niugini has already bought the company?
