DD - morale? Is that high or low morale?

How fast "HE" was going..?....

Come on,....we all know it was a woman!, but in her defence (yes, with a 'C', I'm English)
she thought that knob handle thingy sticking out of the dashboard thingy was to hang her handbag on!

So much fuss. I was just sitting there, doing my run up in the Skyhawk when the Caravan backed right into me. I honked and flashed my lights, but to no avail. Stupid Caravan drivers never check their wing mirrors.

Personally I wouldn't hang my handbag from those knob thingies on the dash? It might swing and break my kneecap. I put it safely on the floor. There are foot pedals down there, but I never need to use them, as my engine works perfectly. Keeps turning even when there's a Caravan on the prop.

So what do we reckon from the pictures? Low RPM, high speed impact? Or High RPM, low speed imapact?

Or a Caravan parked on a slope with the brakes off........?

Big slope or little slope?

Ha!! Who cares!! Nice photos though.....

Damn! I knew I shouldn't have hand-proped that airplane without someone in the cockpit!

Could this be the little...ahem...'incident' at Elstree late last year??

If I remember correctly an instructor let his student fire a Cessna up while he went and finished his coffee. The student had the throttle set too high, didn't have the park brake on nor his feet on the toe-brakes and just panicked when he shot forward into the rear end of another aircraft.

Its a stab in the dark but looks like the same incident to me...

Never ever forget to brake,
