Post Contractair recruitment

From the grapevine, Contractair advert in flight recently is looking for ex mil QFI types to take over mil flying training. Any mere mortals, such as myself I hasten to add, applied and had any positive response from them, I know JEFTS occasionally had instructors without a military background working at Barkston and ex mil pilots without a QFI tick, just wondering if there is any avenues here.
