Post Weekend incident at Bournemouth?

This is secondhand so I can't comment on it's accuracy - However, a friend reported that on Sunday afternoon (24/6) a Palmair jet landing at Bournemouth performed an overshoot, subsequently to land on a different runway followed closely by a host of airport emergency vehicles and an ambulance. Nothing was mentioned on the local news so I presume it wasn't a serious incident. Any ideas?

I'll just point out that I'm merely curious as I do most of my flying from Bournemouth, before I get flamed for posting trivial questions

Lightbulb

The Palmair flight was a gear problem they asked for a visual inspection on the first pass and landed on the second. not sure of the full story (probably a duff bulb or microswitch) I was listening to the r/t at the time as we heard the siren go!!

Ironicly on the saturday European also had another 737 with hydraulic problems which caused it to be merrily chased by the airport fire services!!

Hope that adds some light!!
