Post 767 Engine Temp query...

Hi, In one of the 'From the Flightdeck' books I have, there is a photo of the upper EICAS screen on a 767 'Prior to startup'. It shows N1 reading 0.9 and an EGT of 108.

108 degrees C ? - from a dead engine ?

How ?

Thanks in advance !
