Post technical reading

Are there any favorite technical books you would recommend associated with aviation, for example, I find "jet engines fundimetals of theory, design and operation" by Klaus Hunecke just about the right balence between technical and a good read, are there any others out there?

All three of Darrol Stinton's books.

Any of Ray Prouty's "popular" helicopter aerodynamics books.
