What was this?
I saw a light aircraft flying in the vicinity of a local airfield and I have no idea what it was, never having seen one quite like it before.
It was fairly small, maybe four metres long but what was interesting was that the "wings" appeared to be in the opposite positions to what we normally see. The "wings" at the front were the short, straight ones usually seen at the tail while the traditional "wings" were at the rear.
These latter had upturned tips - quite large in proportion to the overall wing size.
Does anyone know what this might have been? Sorry I can't give a better description ... I was driving in the opposite direction when I saw it!

Yes! What an interesting little aircraft. I don't think there are too many around here though as I live close to an airfield and that was the first I've ever seen. It looks very sleek and agile. I'll have a more complete read about it from that link. Thanks, Paper Tiger.
