Question BA Policy on flightdeck visits

The previous thread appears to have been deleted so I'll post again.

I just wondered if BA have changed their policy on flightdeck visits following the recent serious incident.

I am flying on BA 027 from LHR to HKG next Tuesday (13th) and it would be nice to drop into the 'office' to say hello if this is still possible.

Company line "doors locked for t/o and landing"

Actual practice "who bothers?"

Just ask - if you are a pilot and promise not to touch anything they should let you up - at least in the cruise.

No change in policy at the moment.

Moggie - you got it wrong, there has been no change to policy yet. D>A - just ask on arrival at a/c. Give hostie your licence to show Captain. HKG has 4 crew so there might not be room on the FD for a T/O or LDG, but otherwise visits generally OK.
