Need advice from Heathrow based aircrew on how to find rooms/flats for rent nr LHR. Is there any kind of "insider" network that crew use to find places? Does anyone know of any rooms/flats available end of May/early Jun? I'll be starting a job with British Airways at the end of the month and need to find a place for about 6 months until I get my feet on the ground to make longer plans. Any alternatives you can suggest (a friend suggested living on a narrowboat as a cheaper alternative to buying a house).
