Post Domestic Jumpseat - Is it worth asking?

Hello,. .. .I hope you dont mind me asking this question! I will be traveling from Edinburgh to London in a few weeks time with a well known "no-frills" airline to stansted.. .. .I would like to request a possibility of sitting in the jumpseat. Reasons are two fold, number 1 I wanted to fly and now it looks like I have lost out on that and number 2, I am now pursuing a career with NATS.. .. .I know that 11/01 will have changed a lot of privilages that were afforded to people, however, as you are the guys in the know, you may be able to tell me if there is any likelyhood my request would be granted. .. .Thanks

Thumbs down

I'm sorry but the few have now spoilt it for the many. Its sad to say as we enjoy having interested people on the flight deck but the flt deck jumpseat is no longer going to be available as an on the day request.. .Sorry as this affects the genuine ppl who find it fascinating to watch.
