Living close to EMA
For a Summer out of East Midlands where is the best place to live? Nottingham would be my first guess - anyone looking to let a room?. .. .Basic query I know but any info greatly appreciated, Airtours crews opinions held in especially high regard

There are plenty of villages & towns around the airport. But you might prefer to call the office & ask for the details of the F/O who has rooms to rent in a house near by.. .. .It's a good base, with some of the companies best cabin crew. I reckon you'll have a good time.

Hi SB,. .. .I live in Nottingham and it is a great place. Un fortunately I dont have a room to rent but here are a few pointers.. .. .Best to avoid St.Anns, Snienton, Bestwood and the Meadows unless you aren't particulary close to your car etc.... .. .Nice places are Beeston, Bramcote, West Bridgeford and Lenton is popular with students from the uni and is fairly pleasant.. .. .As for the city, it has some of the finest nightlife in the land and every weekend thousands descend on the city centre. Shopping is good and there are lots of nice places to eat. If you can base yourself in the city you are guarenteed a great summer. I'm rather upset only because I am based in MAN and don't spend as much time at home as I would like.. .. .Oh Yeah I suppose you heard that Nottingham has more women per man than anywhere else in the country. It's true. ENJOY
