Post 747-400 drivers! (real ones and FS2000)

Hi all,

recently bought the 747-400 for my FS2000

Can anyone tell me what "continous ignition" is, and what that swich is for?

And just right of the CON-swich there's a knob with positions 1, BOTH and 2, what is that for?

This information seem to be missing in the manual.

Continous ignition is selected in heavy rain and in turbulance. It ensures against flameout.
