Question Week of gliding?

Hi guys,

I've been learning to glide for some months now, but Im moving away from home (and my club) after the summer.

Before I move I would like to have a lot of flights under my belt so that when I join a new club after the summer Im close or at the solo stage of flying. At my current club I find that time is a problem as at the moment have exams, and in the summer a part time job which means I will only have 1 day per week (Wednesday) for gliding.

Does anyone know if there are any clubs (anywhere in the UK) where I can go to do a week of gliding? I know my club used to run these but don’t have any planned for the near future. I think that a solid week of gliding would help, and all the BGA sent me was a book of clubs in the UK and an advert to buy a t-shirt L

Cheers,

KBaB

Try Deeside Gliding club Aberdeenshire.

If it's during the summer just take a tent up.

Hi - Have you tried Lasham in Hampshire - i think they offer accommodation as well.

Also if you are lucky you may get to see a couple of jet movements as well
