Helipads in Milton Keynes
On Watling St (in M.K.) there is a helipad opposite the Milton keynes bowl.
I have sometimes seen Twin Squirrels landing to pick people up/drop them off. Also once saw an ex-army Scout startup and take off (surprisingly quiet).
Also Helipad nr Town Centre that never seems to be used - when I'm around, anyway!
Just wondered what the rules/procedures are for this - weather minima, any special training reqd etc...??
PS: Before anyone asks, no I am NOT an angry resident!! Don't live nr watling st anyway, and am always delighted to see 'em!
