Post Las Vegas Flying

Where to rent aircraft in Las Vegas?

Someone asked a question on R&N which was supposedly transferred to this forum, but never turned up here. I can answer it.

I rented a C172 in good condition from the Las Vegas Flying Club at North Las Vegas. It was quite an expensive cab ride from downtown. They required a brief checkout in the aircraft, just basic handling, no spins or stalls. I would rent from them again, but I might investigate availability at
McCarron, as it's much closer to downtown.

If you take a taxi it is expencive rgardless what airport you go to ... Well other than McCarran.
I Suggest that you rent a car anywhere between 35-65 USD a day and drive to both henderson and North Las Vegas airports. Both places have good deals and I bet you thet you will save more that using a cab.
