Post Sorry Chris!

Since I think this is a good question and very important to a lot of people I thought I'd ask it again and hopefully domeone in the know will answer it!!!

I have been looking to begin a career as a Pilot for a while and have been given a second bite at the cherry but after reading the article "BA to recruit DEPs on the 744" it looks as though there is a lot of negative
feeling within some parts of the industry. Is this just within the top ranks or does this stretch all the way down to the trainees? There will always be dissatisfaction (as in every industry) but do the opportunities to climb the ranks exist quite readily?
The industry I am currently in offers a lot, v.well paid and constantly changing environment. From an outsider the chance to become a pilot is an unmissable opportunity but can someone supply some positive feedback as there seems to be very little around......?! also does anyone have any info on aptitude tests???
