Red face Ops 3 - why so called?

Here in Manchester, one of the ground vehicles is named "Ops 3". So far as I am aware, there is no Ops 1, Ops 2 or Ops 4.

Until yesterday I just put this down to "one of those things". But, yesterday, in Glasgow I found another one! "Ops 3" again.

What is the hidden meaning??

well cant say about egcc but we have ops 1-5! all have different tasks and equipment ie bird scaring etc - i am sure that egcc has more than one if we have (although have never seen them all at one time, one car 5 drivers maybe?)

EGCC does indeed have ops 1 to 5.All have different tasks and perhaps you only notice ops 3 as he/she is the Ops Duty Manager and probably the busiest of them all in terms of r/t.Ops 2 is the Engineering Duty Manager etc, etc.
