Engine failure on takeoff past V2 2 engine vs 4 engine

When a large 2 engine jet ( 777 ) looses an engine just past V2 is it more difficult to fly vs a large 4 engine jet ( A380 ). Do the control laws on these aircraft "help".

Aviation enthusiast but lacks knowledge so go easy on me

The certification requirements are more or less the same: be able to continue the take-off after one engine fails at V1.
