Staff Parking at Stansted

Hello

I have been told that if you have staff parking at Stansted, you can park for up to 36 Hours. I have also heard that you can apply for an extension onto this, does anyone know how much of an extension you can get? How strict are they on clamping cars that have been there too long? Work away from UK but looking for a suitable affordable place to leave car while I am away working and commuting back to UK, up to about 6 days at a time

Any help or info would be greatly apprecaited

Thanks

Hi, you need to get your company to apply for an aircrew extended pass to put in your windscreen. You get this from the commuter office on the ground floor of enterprise house.
I have seen the officious car park "police" wandering around at 2.00am checking number plates. A colleague had his car towed away a few months ago, having gone on holiday for a week.
As you drive in, your registration and driver are recorded. I would not risk it unless you can get a friend to drive the car in and out- big brother is watching you

Hi, not sure if there is a time limit but the pass has your company name and your number on. I assume so that they can check with your employer that you are away at work and not on holiday
