Smile A319 - Tips for Initial Training

Hi folks,

Just wondering if any pilots or engineers out there had any advice for somebody undergoing their first jet type rating on the A319.

Thanks in advance!

Read the manual - thoroughly, and know your procedures. You can always have a bad 'flying day', but not being prepared for the session is simply unprofessional. Listen to your instructor. When in doubt about something: Ask your instructor. It is basically a typerating like on every other type. Finally, enjoy!
