Language Requirement

Hi everyone,

I received this reply to a recent application to a German airline:

Dear Sir,

Thank you for interest in our company.

Your experience level is satisfying.

Kindly be advised that all tests and interviews will be held in German.

I don't speak German so here is my question.

Has anybody heard of an airline making an exemption with regards to the native language requirement?

Of course I expect that the airline in question will not make an exemption for me however, just wondering if anybody has any stories?

It's a killer to be told your experience is OK etc and to fall on the language thing

Thank you.

Sun Express have recently hired some fellow students from my flight school. They are German native speakers and do not speak Turkish.
