Comparisson Embraer 120 and B1900
Please could you share some light on this subject or direct me in the correct direction. We are looking to compare the running costs of a embraer 120 and a B1900,also the pro's and cons? There selling prices are similiar so i am undecided on which aircraft is best for freight and passenger flights of over 300nm.

Hi there
The B1900D is fantastic for cargo. It has a nice big rear door for loading, you can increase the size of the cargo bay by taking out pax rows.
The standard cargo hold (which is huge for a small aeroplane) takes 1630lbs or approx 750kgs. MTOW is 17120lbs. MZF weight is 15165lbs. Max fuel is 4484lbs which would give you a good 1200nm range.
It has a proper stand up cabin for 19 pax (or 18 if you have the optional toilet at the front). I think it is a super aeroplane. The C model is not as good.
If you are serious I may know of a 1900 operator looking for a quick sale of a later D model. PM me if you like.
I have no knowledge of the Emb 120 to compare with.
Good luck !

For cargo:
The 1900 can be flown single pilot (assuming the proper training has been completed) unless something has changed. The Brasilia requires two pilots no matter, again unless things have changed in the past 10 years since I dealt with it.
