Fatigue, poor rostering and bad management

Hi All,

I am a 737 Captain and have been contracting worldwide for the last twenty years. I like many others have had enough of :
  • Fatigue
  • Poor rostering,
  • Airline management cutting corners to save a quid.
I am collating information on the above headings with a view to publishing. What I’m looking for are any specific examples of the above headings that you may have experienced or witnessed. I can guarantee anonymity as individual crew names or airlines are not required.

I think it is important that we address these issues before they cause further incidents or accidents.

Please send me a private message if you have anything you feel is relevant.

Regards

Jeff Day

Good luck!

Pilots have been complaining about those things since day one. Don't mean to discourage your efforts, but.....

Glad I'm retired!

your location says that you are in England, well that falls under the CAA, and the CAA falls under the Freedom of Information act.... go ask them for there reported complaints for your area of research...

Thanks for the reply Miles. CAA don't seem to have done much about it so far, perhaps we need another angle hence my data collection. Feel free to send a PM if the topic concerns you.
