Should coincide with the one at bmi on Wednesday as well then!

The only question left is, will they take baby as well as regional?

Nope. All wrong. It's to do with a competitor at Gatwick. Can't say more at the moment but you're right it'll all be public knowledge on Wednesday.

There was a rumour doing the rounds at work recently that BA Gatwick are about to announce that they are subbing out all of the British Airways Gatwick domestic flying to FlyBe as part of some co-operation deal. Could this be the announcement of that??

I'd have thought the difference between NOT having such aircraft and HAVING them, and crews, in ones fleet right now is a cheque book.

I don't think this is anything more sinister than them announcing a terminal change.

Can't think what else it could be

Maybe they are going under and have the decency to inform staff and passengers before hand.

I've heard the one about BA at LGW, not sure how that would work really and would expect it to be an announcement from BA if was true. We shall see...

By the way why has this been moved from Rumours and News? Surely it is a RUMOUR and if it is true, then it will be NEWS?

If it is, then maybe it will be moved back, otherwise it simply removes the clutter from that forum?

Surely they could at least announce that they will be making an announcement next week about an announcement coming that there never was no announcement in the pipeline anyway? Some managements are just so inconsiderate!

Has anybody else noticed the vast majority of these alleged announcements never come? Someone picks up a whisper in a corridor, thinks there maybe an announcement, several people pick it up, and before you know it, it's on Pprune, and much to the bewilderment of the management, they find themselves apparently committed to an announcement, and they invariably don't know what it's about! The airline rumour mill combined with GalleyFM- deadly!
