BE- 1900 on G Reg
Can anyone tell me why there are no Be-1900's in the uk.
I was told the CAA won't let them on the reg....is that true. If so why.
Has anyone ever tried to do it??

As long as there is a Beech 1900 certified in a EASA State then the CAA cannot deny UK certification. I think Net Jets has one on the Portuguese Registry so putting one on the G from the CS (or indeed any other EASA State) would not be a problem. What would be more difficult would be to put a second hand N reg model on the G because ALL non standard Mods (either STC'd or not) have to be formally approved by EASA. (The CAA normally aprooved FAA STC's but it is not their responsibility now)

There are B-1900s ("D"s as far as I am aware), buzzing around in Scandinavia and Germany, also there is a Maltese operator to the best of my knowledge. I am also considering them for an operation out in the East of Euroland, but this will now not be until the economic situation gets a little more than a Band aid of Brown BS.
