I have a Turbo Prop rating (UK JAA) that I haven't operated for a little over five years; which I understand is the normal limit for expiry. Has anyone had any success in being able to get a extension to this limit?

I'm current on other types and have over 100 hours on the expired rating.

Any thoughts or opinions greatly appreciated.

If you go to the CAA website and go to lasors and section 4, IIRC. You will find the expirey date is 5 years since your last check.
