Procedure for renewing JAR IR/ME with CAA
Can anybody give me a quick heads up as to what is required to renew JAR IR/ME qualification with the CAA?
Is it just a check flight with an FI? Or a full-on repeat of the IR/ME skills test with a CAA examiner?
I have a DGAC (France) IR/ME, and we have to do the latter with the attendant exhorbitant costs, as the examiner can ask you to take him anywhere he wishes.
