Mad Jock

Sorry!

I don't teach tech.... Just normal.

I do try and keep the teaching and my sport
diving well away from each other, don't even talk
tech with students.

My tech is TDI Nitrox, Adv Nit,Deco, Extended and
Normoxic Trimix. Oh and NO Rebreathers!!!!

Oh and will be NACD full in October!

As I said. If there's a problem it's probably around the 50-75 dive mark.
Statistically, this is where the majority (50%+(BSAC Accident statistics))
happen .

This seems to be where confidence becomes over confidence
and there's just enough experience to get yourself in real trouble.

IIRC there's a similar band with PPL pilots, I remember reading something
but can't remember where.

Any more replies welcome.

Thanks

DaveA

Madjock: If you want to take the diving side offline to PM's.
That way we're not polluting the thread. FWIW, I agree about tech
quals completely.

Yes indeedy, used to kick in at around 180-200 hours when, for some peculiar reason the cowboy hats came out of the closet.
Big hat! No steers!
Seems to be a Texan deirsory comment as I do recall!
Funny old aeroplane that, by the way. But I was thinking more along the lines of this for divers...

GUS'S INCREDIBLE FLYING BOATS Panama City Beach Flying Boat Rental and Sales

Do you have a list of decompression chamber locations? While it is not something that I have had to deal with in my career, for those who fly charter to Med/Carribbean/Asian locations, this could one day be something of use.

Chamber locations

This is probably the best place:

Worldwide Hyperbaric Chamber Locator, Contact London Recompression & Hyperbaric facilities - The London Diving Chamber EUROPE

Worldwide Hyperbaric Chamber Locator, Contact London Recompression & Hyperbaric facilities - The London Diving Chamber CARIBBEAN

Worldwide Hyperbaric Chamber Locator, Contact London Recompression & Hyperbaric facilities - The London Diving Chamber MIDDLE EAST

Worldwide Hyperbaric Chamber Locator, Contact London Recompression & Hyperbaric facilities - The London Diving Chamber OCEANIA

Worldwide Hyperbaric Chamber Locator, Contact London Recompression & Hyperbaric facilities - The London Diving Chamber ASIA

At the same time they do some fantastic awareness courses
and chamber rides.

Regards
