The company TKS Ltd was formed in 1942 to meet the British Government requirements for anti ice systems, which then went into service towards the end of WWII. Aerospace Systems & Technologies, Inc, of Lawrence, Kansas manufactures the TKS system. AS & T is now trading as CAV Aerospace. See http://www.weepingwings.com
What the letters TKS stand for, if anything, I know not.
