Accidents and Criminality

I am aware of some accidents following which the crew have been found guilty of criminal offences and jailed (DC-8 over run Athens). The GOL accident in Brazil and the threat of criminal sanctions against various personnel prompts the question, is any one aware of an accident within the scheduled airline community where criminality was a factor? I confess I am not. Those such as the DC-8 event, I regard the crew as not guilty and only scapegoats to the political process.
