Shared Ownership

Hi

I am hoping someone can help me with a theoretical question.
If two or three businesses decided they wanted to purchase an aircraft, exclusively for their use and splitting the cost equally, what sort of legislation would restrict them. Would they need an AOC? Or would it be a case of buy the a/c, employ a pilot and go? What about maintenance standards?
Probably a C90 / TBM type aircraft if that helps.

Many Thanks

SK

AOC only required for charter work for third parties. If all the aircraft is doing is hauling around its owners then no AOC required.
