737-300 series

I started a thread in the spectators balcony and im confused!!! probably me but it was about a plane I was on today and a compartment on the pod under the wing blew open much to my dislike!

I know it happens but do pilots check all doors, hatches etc before flying or is that engineers job specifically???

I know caps check engines etc I ve seen that

Engineers do a walk round in the morning, pilots befroe each flight. Ground staff check all doors hatched etc before pushback.

Can you be more specific as to what you saw?

Rather than clog up the forums with repeats, please look at the closed thread http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?t=281486
