Airlines advertising in a competition.
I would like to know if anyone had any info about Airlines willing to sponsor/advertise in some sports competitions (outside the big ones like golf, football, tennis, etc).
What it comes to my idea is to look for sponsor for a very good friend of mine who will be representing my country in the following European GLiding Championship (Latvia 2007) and World Gliding Championship (Berlin 2008).
something like (as an example) Emirates GLiding Team (and all the teammembers will have to dress with EK logo and in exchange the airline would support the pilot either by offering cash or free tkts).
Anyone had this kind of experience that would like to share or guide me to the right contacts?
