So what?

Colleague was on a flight back from Geneva in January. Nasty noise somewhere around top of climb (maybe a bit further along) followed by sudden diversion to CDG.

It happens!

Or am I just an old cynic?

Negative

Nothing in or out of MAD or BCN diverted anywhere last night, the 8754 to LCY was canx ex MAD due tech, but your source is incorrect.

I'm not surprised that is erroneous.

Thanks
