pax dying on flights

How often does that actually happen?
Where can one check the figures for different airlines, if indeed it is possible
Has anyone experienced this?

A recent newspaper article stated that BA experience around 10 deaths a year on their flights, so that gives some indication...

Was unfortunate enough to experience this. A very elderley gentleman, passed away in the loo, aneurism. I had the very unfortunate task of informing his widow, truly something I hope none of you ever get to experience - horrible. A chap I know who worked in Africa, lost 4 in one go, a hospital evac sortie in a 'well used' 1-11 belonging to a certain carrier with a 'Chief' on the stab. Altogether rather unpleasant.

The CAA may be able to provide some info - deaths occurring anywhere in the world on board UK registered aircraft have to be registered with them (more info here).
BA had one recently, and put the corpse in First Class (Reuters). One way to get a free upgrade I suppose!

I had a couple of posts on this subject deleted for some reason. You would have had more.
