Carry-on liquid rules for crew in Germany.

Can anyone tell me if crew are exempt from the carry-on baggage liquid rules when coming through German airports???

Not the last time I was there. But they do seem a bit more relaxed now than when the new rules were introduced, especially if on duty and in uniform. Dont`assume they will play ball though!

Passed thru FRA in uniform two weeks ago, and no problem whatsoever.
Must have taken their nice pills recently....

Thanks for the replies. One of the pleasures of coming out of Germany in the past was bringing home some decent beer, it'd be a shame to be unable any more!

Hint - I was once stopped for having coffee in a flask. they let me through when the handling agent pointed out to them that it was catering. So bizarrely enough I can take on liquids for my passengers, but not for myself
